About the Position

As a Manager on our Client Analytics team, you will leverage Cardlytics’ transactional data to grow and nurture relationships with client teams within the Emerging Accounts vertical. You will own relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to showcase the value and opportunities of the Cardlytics platform. You will serve as a trainer, mentor, and subject matter expert on Cardlytics’ transactional data, and how it can be utilized to inform client competitive and customer-centric strategy. You will work closely with product and sales counterparts in translating requirements into appropriate problem statements, developing robust solutions by analyzing large datasets and presenting findings to influence future strategies.

Reports to: Senior Manager, Client Analytics

Location: EST time zone

Responsibilities:  

  • Work on problems affecting some of the fastest growing consumer businesses in the US by leveraging our unique whole-wallet transaction data set

  • Work with large datasets using SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and other tools

  • Design, build, and launch sophisticated data-focused insights and visualizations that support client use case across different industry verticals

  • Drive strategic partnerships by identifying issues, creating hypotheses, executing the analysis, and translating data into meaningful insights and actions for our partner teams

  • Mine purchase data to understand customer spending habits, competitive landscapes and customer journeys

  • Develop new self-service tools for internal consumption, addressing client/industry business and marketing needs

  • Ensure delivery of insights and analyses with end-to-end ownership, clear communication, and operational processes that drive visibility and accountability with stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive Analytics experience including experience as a team or project lead. Data Science, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning experience is a plus.

  • Experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, etc.)

  • Experience leveraging big data technologies (Hadoop, Netezza, Vertica, AWS, etc) and modern data visualization tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Looker) to blend data from multiple sources to help answer multi-dimensional business questions

  • Experience in statistical concepts including Test/Control methodologies

  • Thriving under pressure in an unstructured, fast-paced environment

  • A degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Decision Sciences, Market Research or similar fields, Master’s degree is preferred
