About the role
Title: Principal Product Manager, Marketplace
Location: Menlo Park, CA
We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our Ad Serving and Ranking Systems. This role is key to driving innovation in our ad marketplace, focusing on auction dynamics, budget management, performance optimization, and relevance to maximize advertiser ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and enhance user engagement.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of strategies for ad marketplace auction, budget management, and performance optimization to maximize advertiser ROAS and user engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data Science, and Design, to create scalable, high-performance ad serving and ranking systems.
Analyze ad marketplace data and user behavior to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization in ad targeting and performance.
Own the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals, advertiser needs, and technical requirements, while balancing long-term strategy with short-term execution.
Continuously monitor product performance, evaluating key metrics to ensure optimal ad performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
8+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or related fields.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Experience with marketplace dynamics and developing features on ad servers.
Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining machine learning pipelines.
Experience partnering with Sales, Operations, and GTM teams to define product adoption strategies and process changes.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving goals.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in budget pacing, yield management, and pricing within an ad marketplace.
Experience in SQL and data analysis.
Experience in using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau.

Compensation
At Cardlytics salary ranges are determined based on factors such as role, level, and location. Individual compensation may be determined by relevant skills, experience, education, training, and other role-specific criteria. This salary range will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of the aforementioned factors.The base salary range provided below does not include bonuses and additional benefits.
The annual US base salary range for this role is:
Compensation Range: $171,000 - $234,000
