About the Position
Location: Menlo Park, CA
As a Principal Product Manager, Data, you'll lead the charge of processing the rich dataset of 50% of all credit card transactions in US. Your primary responsibilities will include - building and optimizing data lake tables, maintaining robust data pipelines, and optimizing performance to reduce transaction processing latencies. This role will be reporting to VP of Products.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with large data sets and a strong ability to derive actionable insights. A solid understanding of advertising and fintech is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:
As a key member of the data team, you will be responsible for driving the development and adoption of our data products, ensuring they are well-documented and accessible to cross-functional teams.
Manage the core data pipeline that efficiently processes hundreds of millions of transactions and events daily from various financial institutions.
Create and execute a high-impact, data-driven product roadmap.
Navigate business goals, focusing on long-term growth, short-term opportunities, platform stability, and the rapid expansion of product capabilities.
Monitor the day-to-day product development lifecycle, overseeing sprints, evaluating outcomes, and iterating strategies.
Work closely with the Engineering team to ensure the product vision is scalable.
Communicate and outline achievable product objectives for Engineering, adjusting scope as necessary to meet key milestones.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in product management.
4+ years of experience with AWS, SQL, and BI/reporting tools like Tableau.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
An accomplished authority in data lake technologies with extensive experience in designing and implementing data products.
An effective communicator.
Results-oriented, capable of managing the entire product development lifecycle from start to finish.
Data-driven and have experience developing comprehensive metrics and dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with AWS with formats like Hudi, Athena or equivalent technologies.
Passionate about data visualization.
Enjoys optimizing query performance.

Compensation
At Cardlytics salary ranges are determined based on factors such as role, level, and location. Individual compensation may be determined by relevant skills, experience, education, training, and other role-specific criteria. This salary range will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of the aforementioned factors.The base salary range provided below does not include bonuses and additional benefits.
The annual US base salary range for this role is:
Range - $190,000-$225,000
